her er vårt skinn
her vårt kjøtt
her er din slekt
eloi
her er vårt løfte
her er vårt ord
her er dine utvalgte
eloi
monumentale hauger av lik
vår gud du som er begynnelsen
de bygger vei opp til ditt rike
avkappede lemmer som banker på din dør
eloi
som en skygge i øyekroken
læresetninger slått inn hodet
foran speilet uten refleksjon
eloi
som gass gjennom dusjhoder
som utmagrede kropper
i altfor store klær
eloi
monumentale hauger av lik
vår gud du som er slutten
de bygger vei opp til ditt rike
avkappede lemmer som banker på din dør
eloi
her er vi de utvalgte
her er vi landsforviste
her er vi rettroende
eloi
stille går vi
opp til skafottet
faller ned uten deg

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
Listening to this on shrooms was haunting, which made it into a serious trip! Which was a mistake I was not prepared for. I do have something to say about it though on why I think it such. I have personally experienced several tipi ceremonies. One would stay up through the night, consuming peyote, doing in some sense a molting process and does so by connecting you to the spirit world.
This album does this, but different - I say it transcends that experience, and does it well... On shrooms.

The dissonant bleakness of the first track is less weird and more hypnotic than on the second track. That's why I like it a little more. But both songs together make for an extraordinary experience and a journey to the arhythmically beating heart of darkness. mourner
The Belgian band explore heavy psych, tribal rhythms, free-jazz freakouts, meditative drone and the vast, shadowy spaces in between. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 22, 2020
